The Guernsey Impact Initiative is designed to attract and retain talented graduates by providing financial assistance toward student loan repayment. Participants who live and work in Guernsey County can receive up to $20,000 in loan support while building meaningful careers within the community. It’s made possible by the Cambridge-Guernsey Community Improvement Corporation.

Build your future in Guernsey County by living and working locally or relocating within 90 days to become part of a vibrant and supportive community.
Graduate from an accredited college, trade school, or certification program. Eligible graduates must have completed their education within the last 3 years (local) or the last 7 years (relocating).
Secure employment with an eligible employer in Guernsey County and live locally, or relocate to the area within 90 days to qualify for the program.
Complete the pre-application and provide the required documentation to verify your eligibility. Full applications will be available soon.
If selected, recipients can receive up to $20,000, paid directly to their student loan lender, monthly for up to four years. Monthly payments will continue as long as the recipient remains living and working in Guernsey County and provides verification that they are making their required loan payments.
